To impact the entire community by making a positive difference in the lives of the women in our program. Our aim is to reduce poverty and lax mindsets by producing healthy, prospering women and connecting them with multiple resources, classes, mentor ship, and action plans for success.
To bring stability into the lives of the women that utilize our services by empowering them to break the many barriers that hinder them from accomplishing their goals and visions. .

Veronica became a part of the BSW organization after moving here from Detroit. She had no way of supporting herself and her young son. Soon Veronica got a job. Afterwards, she and her son moved into their own apartment and are still doing well!
Lynn began as a resident at BSW and is now the office manager for the organization.
Cynthia began as a resident and became a resident assistant. She later moved into her own place, and despite health issues, she is doing well.
Gracie relocated to Flint from Florida after experiencing problems with her parents. She and her parents reconciled during her stay here at BSW. Gracie has since moved out of state and is now married with her own family.
